Ken Cunningham, RMT
About Ken
Ken began his journey in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer at Goodlife fitness for just under 8 years. It was there that he initially acquired a curiosity and fascination for human physiology and movement. This inspired him to begin studying to become an osteopathic manual practitioner at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto in 2017. Ken wanted to not only be capable of assisting his clients on their journey of gaining greater strength and weight loss but instead shift his expertise to injury prevention, rehab and posture. He found that he could help his clients by taking this approach to not only attain but maintain their fitness levels, overall health and wellbeing. Ken chose to attend the massage therapy program at Westervelt College in London in 2019 to further his understanding of manual therapy and add another modality to his repertoire as a practitioner.
Ken works with a diverse clientele having worked with the western swim team facilitating them through their provincial meet for 3 years and worked alongside professional mma fighters during their training camps. He’s worked previously at a multidisciplinary physio clinic treating individuals with complex cases resulting from MVA’s (motor vehicle accidents) and various other pathologies.
Ken enjoys spending his downtime playing various sports like pickleball and kickboxing along with hiking. He is also currently writing his thesis for his osteopathy program.
